Ready or Not, Fall Menus Arrive Early at Dunkin’ Donuts and Starbucks
As summer draws to a close, many of us begin to experience those end of summer blues while others have been counting down the days since last fall, huffing their pumpkin spice candles just to get through it. If you’re one of those people jonesing for your fall-fix, then you’ll be happy to know autumn has come sooner than expected.
Dunkin’ Donuts has already released their new fall menu boasting a variety of exciting seasonal treats, including coveted classics like their Pumpkin and Festive Fall donuts as well as some new flavors like Apple Crisp. Nothing says fall like a donut stuffed with apple, doused in caramel icing and topped with crispy sweet oats. If that isn’t enough fall to fill your mouth with, you can spread some yummy maple cream cheese on top, another new addition to Dunkin’ Donuts’ fall lineup.
Starbucks is also feeling the autumn vibes releasing their fall menu sooner than expected. Among the fall bakery options is a new Apple Cider Doughnut flavored with apple cider and covered in vanilla icing and a sprinkle of turbinado sugar for a nice crunch.
We can’t talk about donuts without mentioning its best friend coffee and there is no shortage of options this fall to pair with your favorite fried ring. DD is featuring pumpkin and maple pecan flavors throughout the season. Both are available in hot or iced coffee, espresso beverages, frozen coffee and cold brew coffee. Starbucks has also brought back their always popular PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte) early this year, which means three extra weeks of white girls in yoga pants, Uggs, and oversized scarves taking a ton of selfies holding their Pumpkin Spice Lattes.
